equipment for easy-open can ends.
This equipment maximizes quality control and production efficiency
by quickly verifying product specs.
The Stolle Photometric Leak
Detector detects score and rivet leaks in
compounded or non-compounded easy open ends. Designed to run
in-line with the conversion press or as a stand-alone unit,
the self-contained leak detector uses reliable light testing
technology as the Stolle transfer system carries the ends
through the test station. The control system counts both the
total and rejected ends, and can be programmed to shut down
the line at a pre-set number of rejects.
The Stolle PressCheck
saves valuable plant floor space by using a similar light
leak detection technology mounted on the output side of the
conversion press. PressCheck is available as an option on
most Stolle
beer-beverage or full-open food end conversion systems, and
is designed to interface with an external end reject station.
The Stolle Accu-Riv is
a bench inspection system for testing and verifying that the
rivet formation conforms to all specifications and tolerances
at each step of production, which allows the user to isolate
any tooling station of the conversion press. The Accu-Riv
provides SPC data analysis capability and can be re-calibrated
with every measurement. The unit arrives ready to operate,
with no special set-up required.
Stolle also sells and supports several other manufacturers’
test equipment, including a buckle tester, score residual
gauge, pop & pull tester, and an enamel rater.
