Full-Open Food End Conversion Systems

food end conversion systems provide adaptable and flexible
solutions for all full-open end requirements.
Incorporating the proven technology of our familiar beverage
end systems, Stolle food end systems are custom-designed to
convert steel or aluminum ends in a variety of sizes and metal
thicknesses. The ability to run different ends in each lane
allows the product mix to be optimized, and quick end size
changeover maximizes production flexibility.
Stolle offers three food end conversion systems to meet different
production volume requirements. As the world’s highest
capacity full open end conversion system, the Stolle Mega
4 produces up to 2000 ends per minute*, and can accomodate
round ends from 202 to 401 in diameter, as well as non-round.
For lower volumes, the 3-out Mega 3 (shown right) produces up to 1500 EPM*,
and the 2-out Mega 2 produces up to 1000 EPM*, and can accommodate
round ends from 202 to 401, plus square, rectangular, oval,
1/4 club and 1/4 Dingley shapes.
Food system customers can benefit from Stolle’s continuing
technical innovations for full open ends, including a patented
rivet design for double reduced (DR) steel ends, a more consumer-friendly
and metal efficient food end tab, and the revolutionary new
CM end system that offers reduced pop and peel force for both
SR and DR steel ends.
