Get More! |

Welcome to the first issue of the Stolle Aftermarket Update newsletter! This newsletter is one facet of a much larger Stolle commitment to you – to give you MORE! As many of our customers know, the management team at Stolle continues to log thousands of miles to listen to you, our customers, and hear first hand what you really wanted from us in the future. The single greatest request was clear - find a way to help everyone who owns a Stolle product get more…more productivity…more life…more everything out of their existing equipment. This quarterly newsletter is just one way that we’ll stay in contact and let you know of new innovations, new services and new levels of support - now and in the future. When Stolle representatives from both our CMD and EMD divisions visited more than 90% of U.S. and Canadian can plants, as well as over 40 plants around the world, we had three objectives: 1) to meet face to face with the many individuals we regularly deal with by phone or e-mail, 2) to verify which Stolle machines are still running daily, and 3) to determine how Stolle is performing and what we could do to better serve our customers. The StollePlus program is that |

result. Because of the importance we are assigning to this commitment to give you more, we have formed a separate unit within Stolle to handle nothing other than aftermarket projects, services and support. This team, headed up by Chris McAlpine, will operate independently of both our manufacturing operations and customer service departments. And as you can see on the masthead above, we call this program StollePlus to reflect what it gives owners of Stolle equipment - More! More life, more support, and more value from your Stolle equipment. |

The StollePlus program will address the “four S’s” that are essential to maximizing equipment ROI: Systems, Spares, Service and Support. Stolle systems are already known for their engineering excellence, quality construction and high productivity. But by using only genuine Stolle spare parts, these machines will retain their value and maintain their quality performance over their entire lifetime. Stolle OEM spares are not only made to the same rigid standards as the originals, but also include all the latest design and manufacturing updates that result in improved performance and longer component life. Cheaper look-alike spares cannot provide these additional value-added qualities. Additionally, when field service is needed to maintain, retrofit or rebuild a machine, Stolle technicians are dispatched on a moment’s notice to service customers anywhere in the world. Since these technicians are involved with the systems from development through assembly, they are regarded as true experts on the machinery they service. But you get more than just great systems and service - Stolle customers also benefit from the backing of 50+ dedicated engineers and product directors throughout the company that provide ongoing support for their machinery. Stolle engineers constantly monitor consumer trends and new technology in metal packaging, and develop upgrades and improvements that keep Stolle machines at the forefront of the can industry. This level of value is simply not available from other sources of spares and service. The StollePlus
program is fully staffed and is
directed by our CEO and Chief Aftermarket Officer, Dave Groetsch. Please
